Faith to Power: A Training for Muslim Leaders
Muslim communities have always played a role in service, justice, and leadership. Our masajid are trusted spaces where people gather, learn, and find support. They also have the potential to shape what happens beyond their walls.
Faith to Power is a one day training designed for:
• Imams and khateebs
• Masjid board members
• Executive directors and staff
• Community leaders connected to masajid
Participants will move through the five foundations of prophetic organizing:
Shared Story: From powerlessness to purpose
Shared Commitment: Building trust through building public relationships
Shared Structure: Developing teams and leadership
Shared Strategy: Mapping and shifting power with wisdom
Shared Action: Turning belief into collective impact
This training focuses on helping leaders understand how to build community power and use it in a way that aligns with our values.
When: Saturday, April 18 from 10am - 5pm
Where: Elevate Office Westerville: 670 Meridian Way, Westerville, OH 43082
